The overall effect is very striking - it looks like he's just stepped from beyond the outer stars. Some of the robe's highlights are a bit drastic (e.g. the blue on black, the medium grey on black) and deserve a bit more blending.
Thanks man. I used Testors Dullcoat on the mini when it was done. I'll try to take some better pictures of it without the flash. My G2's flash is like the sun! I'll just take them in better lighting conditions.
i love the cloak1 most people go abit overboard on trying to add detailed images, you stuck witha ubtle approach and IMO it worked out great!
Only opinion, is if you want cloak to have more depth in a photo try using a matte finish, or turning off the flash on your camera. Also maybe apply your final wash over a highlighted white around your images on the cloak. this makes the blending look abit more spread out.
