This is the first display type mini I have ever painted, I did it around New Year's 06-07. It's amazing how unflattering it is up close, but it was one of my earlier works, so I suppose it's ok.
Haha, yeah I can see what you mean. I was going for a tanned look, but I went kinda overboard. I think I've improved a bit since then though, thank God.
Did this guy shove his face into a grill? use much much less paint and use many coats if you have to, also try to paint the skin...well...skin color instead of red :D
