Thanks for your tips and comments. I have painted his base and glued on some grass. His eyes are almost closed, so it would not have looked good to paint eyes over his closed eyelids. I am going to apply some more shading, and then I will take another pic with closeups and so.
Very nice for 5 months of painting. I really like the marble looking lower part of the Sword. You could improve it by working on the face. Highlight the upper lip, darken around the eyes, and paint in whites and irises. Beyond that I'd say use more shades to make your highlights blend more smoothly.
I don't know if the armor is nmm or not but it looks very nice, it's my favorite part of this mini. The cloak is good too, but I would have used a little stronger shadows and highlights. But that's just a personal preference and the main thing is that the cloak is well painted.
The face looks kinda odd, I'm not really familiar with the sculpt, but doesn't he have his eyes open? If the spear would be a little longer it would look as if he's leaning to the spear while sleeping ;). But I understand that painting eyes in 25mm scale is propably hard, and maybe it's just the pic if the eyes are so small that the camera didn't pic them up. a seven. Some close-ups and it could be an eight.
