I'm not keen on the colour choices, the pink looks out of place. The most worrying thing about this piece is the eyes. Man, they just go right through me and make me shiver. Im not too hot at painting eyes myself but these are too stark. I would also say the highlighting and shading needs more work with lots of graduations in colour. The base is fine, maybe a little more shadow on it, the grass looks good and you ve got it standing on end which i always fail to do when i use that stuff! Hope that helps.
