I did the robes as if made from an old religious manuscript.Enjoy.Check out the auction for bigger pictures and different angles. I have extencively changed the base (thanks for all the suggestions) since I entered it in LA Golden Daemon a second time. It made runner up both times.

Good miniature. I like it alot. Don't be so quick to bash fluff. There is nothing wrong with following the description of what he looks like (Fluff). Especially if you want to sell to an anonymous person. You are not doing any thing new ,or "unique", when you paint a miniature against what it's suppose to look like (Yes, there is a "suppose to look like" If I showed you a picture of George W. Bush, then had a 25 year old asian girl come up to you and say she was G.W. Would you beleive her? No. You'd call her a nutter and send her on her way.) I've been gaming for 20+ years and it's all been done. Anyway, this an excellent miniature. Keep up the good work.
