Phoenix Lord Baharroth - Twilight version
Hello! For my first mini posting, I present the Phoenix Lord Baharroth - Twilight version. Model Painting Explination: I always thought this was a cool model and have wanted to take a stab at it. Here it goes! I figured that if this guy was so powerful then he should have a cool looking suit. He is known as the Cry of the Wind so what does that look like? Well, I figured I would relate him more to the sky. That explains why his suit is mostly blue. I gave his wings a starfield pattern and tried to blend them into light clouds. Like images of space and the atmosphere of the earth. I painted his sword to look like the sky of a setting sun (I call it the sun setter sword). I have gotten pretty good working with bone color (IMO) thanks to all the work I have done for my friend on his eldar so I decided to give his gun that treatment. You know...wraithbone and all that. Anyway, the barrel of the gun is green because...well...I hadn't used that color yet. Well, that's pretty much it. Hope ya'll like it! Opinions (good/bad/indifferent) always welcome!
