"Moria Stirs"
okay so a few plastic moria goblins aint going to set the miniature painting world on fire but this was a case of wether i could make a silk purse from a sow's ear and also led to my first foray into light reflections (from the lava). the base is made from foam card coated in filler with the slabs and lava simply etched in with a file. The walls are actually converted from some ruins given away free with battle games in middle earth. I tried to make the goblins quite pale (from living in the darkness) and dirty hence the rust and grime on the clothes and weapons. All 6 are removable so can be played with. So the big question is did i make a silk purse or is it still a sows ear. Also i would appreciate comments on my first osl attempt. Thanks, Brett
