ultramarine Standard bearer
I painted this 2. ed standard bearer for my UM army, I don´t think I´ll ever use him in gaming but it was a nice thing to paint. The banner motif was taken from the 5th company standard on page 71 of the marine codex; I used it for my 2nd company though, as it simply looks better then the 2.nd company one; the banner itself was made from a piece of foil. The rest of the mini was used unchanged, a beautiful sculpt from the golden age of space marines. Base was kept simple for gaming purposes. Comments and crticism appreciated.
