Spyglass Anastasia on sculpted base
This is an old favorite of mine :-) This time around, I took advantage of a new technique I learned regarding the sculpting of candles. A recent commission piece required the placing of candles on the marble base, and I needed to develop somthing that would look fairly decent bust still be strong enough to withstand the rigors of playing a game of warhammer 40K. I was able to engineer something out of aluminum rods, wire and green stuff that made some neat candles.
