Astrid - for a mini paint exchange

Astrid is one of my favorite Werner sculpts. Her pose seems to say..."you think you like me now? Wait 'till you hear me play!". She is an absolute joy to paint! I added the "lute" strap with green stuff and constructed a little stage from plastic sheet. Any comments or constructive crits would be very much appreciated. I'm really trying to reach better levels of painting but I work so slowly, things just all get muddled. Thanks AWhang

Thanks Peteh. Yes, my hair technique leaves much to be desired. I seem to get to a point I like, and then ruin it all with my final wash, flattening all my hard work. I need more practice that's for sure. -AW
