I quite like it - remember the apothacury is going to be using his narthecium to rescue the gene-seeds in the midst of battle so the blood is quite appropiate.
Its not that terrible... all the details are identifiable, and some are even highlighted...his face has expression painted in, this needs work but its a good benchmark.
