Ultramarine Veteran Sergeant Tyranid Hunter

This isn't one of the normal Tyranid Hunters as they are a little too comical in my eyes, this is how a Tyranid Hunter should look. Armed with a Plasma Pistol and a Power Knife (slotted in his back pack), he is kitted out with the just the right tools for an extended 'Nid hunt'. A 'big up' goes out to ManU26 who's Smiley Legion marines inspired this particular figure, especially the multiple pouch thing that is going on! It has been painted using Vallejo Colours by Tom N of Imperial War Paint Studios and it has a few really cool details on it such as the Tyranid skull that has replaced the exhaust vent housing on the backpack, the auspex has been painted in superb detail, the barrel has been drilled out and the wax on the purity seals have been given a coat of gloss varnish to make them look really "waxy". All the iconography and symbols are free hand. Click on the auction link if you fancy a bid, we ship worldwide. If you would like a quote for a commission please email us at imperialwarpaint@blueyonder.co.uk, we specialise in Warhammer 40k figures but we do paint any range.

It looks like it's probably great, but the photo could do with a bit more light, plus maybe some more angles.
