A 54mm flat knight painted as a joke, notice the wood grain on the horse and the modern looking rank badges, medal, radio call sign on the reins etc. I am currently painting a companion figure in combat dress! I don't usually do political commentary but I couldn't resist this as a dig against the cuts in defence budgets!!

I was about to give a low mark (union jack isn't medieval etc) before reading the comment. I don't get how it criticizes budget decisions, but I'll assume the joke makes sense to folks over there. The skill is top notch of course, and woodgrain? Classic!
