Count Orlok (Nosferatu)

A Mega Miniatures vampire, painted in monochrome as a tribute to the 1922 film "Nosferatu" - possibly one of the most memorable and influential horror films ever made.

Amazing. Mr. Schreck's Nosferatu is one of my all time favorite characters (and thus all the rip offs like Salems Lot one, etc). Great work achieving the general feel of the movie, specially on the mini diorama like base. It brings to my mind the scene when he carries his own casket. May look simple but that cloth and face sure took an eternity to finish like that. On theother hand don't like that much the sculpt... loos like it'd be good to use as a generic nosferatu vampire than the Count Orlock itself. Cheers

Black and white are no picnic to work with, and you've done a super job with them here. The highlighting on the cloth in particular stands out, but the creepy skin is also great. 8 for the painting, and an extra for the basing and overall atmosphere and cool idea.

Your cloth painting is getting pretty amazing... first the pirate girl and now this. The longer I look at the skin the more I like it, too. Well done! The vacant expression is the only thing that doesn't quite measure up to the rest. BTW, thanks again for keeping the WIP on your blog. Always a good read.
