Sir Michael the Gold
Here is Sir Michael, but maybe not in all his glory. I originally was going to try to do some NMM for the gold, but since there wasn't a large plate of it I didn't feel it needed it. So, its just some metallic gold paint. The ground and rocks are plaster of paris, and made lumpy. A bit of gray paint on some and some brown on the other does the trick. Added some Woodland Scenics grass next to one rock, then added some yellow flock around the base. Had I had some, I would have added some red and/or brown flock as well. It looks like leaf scatter almost and if I'd added those two extras it would have added some variety. I enjoyed making the base more than painting the mini itself! (6)
