Branching out from my usual "games workshopiness", here is my first 1/72 scale mini of any kind. I'm really liking this green colour, but it looks so much better in RL (and so does the rest of the mini)... This mini was taken from the Italeri "Medieval Tournament - XV Century" set. Now with a Better Pic. Any Comments and/or Criticism greatly appreciated.

Dragonsreach - That's perfectly fine, I don't mind for you to be doing that, but I would like to point out that this is a really bodgey pic, and now that I have my new camera I'm going to try for better pics...I have to say it looks infinitely better in person

With respect to the painter for posting this picture I must point out to Je Touche that this picture does not rate a 9. Although the work is neat the picture does not show any real "Spark" to the mini and although the scale is below the 28mm that is the GW norm. I feel that the smoothness of the paintwork is lacking in comparison to some of Guardsmans other works. I would suggest the Je Touche that he looks to some of the miniatures scoring 9 on the site and compare them to this miniature in order to make a more balanced judgement. My apologies to Guardsman for using the comment posting on one of his minis to point out someone elses somewhat innaccurate judging.

A rating of 5.2? This is ridiculous. People do not appriciate the scale. For me, it's a clear 9 (maybe even a bit above). Great paintwort on this figurine. Would like to see more historical non-military figures.
