The wolf scouts GW makes were too static for me. This was converted from a standard marine scout. I wanted to experiment with height on a standard 25mm base. All in all I think it turned out well.
Try using something aside from a pile of sand for him to hold on to. The paint job is okay. Also, if you can get a hold of some catachan or ork arms, they would work well for your conversion. They're beefy. Just throw some shoulder pads on them.
