Aldenyss the Quiet

My entry into the Newbold challenge. It managed to tie on second place with Brokenblades farseer. The winning entry was an excellent Lara from tomb.. I mean a female archeologist by Alexi Z! :) You can read about it all and see all other entries here Another fun miniature to paint, but there was some places I stuck on and unfortunately the face was a bit rough from casting even with some milliput washes on it. But I think I managed to hide it pretty well. Comments are always welcome! Sven

Beautifully delicate work, i'm a little sad you've gone to nmm but with blending like this you may as well ;) The leather work on the boots and jerkin are exceptional but i feel the cloak is missing something, perhaps just a little over the top highlighting on the uppermost folds and hood ??? thanx, Dennis.

I think it's a super mini and you've made a terrific job of it, especially the face. I particularly like the choice of colours. :-)

Really nice work. The Nmm (particually on the sword) is brilliant. The small thing that lets it down for me is the mud on the cloak. Most notably on the right (as i look at it) it looks like brown lines no mud but it is still brill work. :) james
