Chaos Crossbowman

I thought I'd show off my latest and greatest model so far... This is an old metal miniature from Games Workshop that I've had lying around for many years, I decided to follow a few guides on here with regards to preparing, painting and finally basing my mini. Along with removing loads of casting lines and minor reshaping, I paid a lot of attention to the actual bow itself (I wish I'd taken a before picture :$) I have to say I think I've done a great job, for starters the crossbow spring was attached to the blokes head, also I changed the shape of the spring arms and the front nut of the crossbow and made the firing groove deeper, Oh and didn't have a bow string! The armour I painted with a Black undercoat, Silver base coat, a wash of thinned Black (thinner than the undercoat) and some final dry brushing with Silver (same as base coat). The fur I did with Black then Grey and finally White as above :D After I'd done the belt, gloves and quarrel pouch I wasn't happy with them so I re-did them in Red because the model was looking a little bland. Oh and the base is made of (wait for it) PVA and White Poppy Seeds Painted Black and Dry Brushed White! LOL
