This is my very first submission, so any suggestions you may have about painting technique or photography will be greatly appreciated! I wanted to paint this lady with a limited pallette, and tried a different skin tone, what do you think?

Very nice for a first submission, but is this your first mini? The painting is very clean and the eyes are great. Very cool colors, which fits this mini very well. Congrats on your first post; look forward to seeing more of your work.

Tis a bold thing to post your first mini I salute you ! You did do a great job with the eyes and for most that is the toughest part. You have controlled your colors well and now can move forward to experiment with washes and contrasts. Maybe a little less snow on the base next time so the mini is the focus point. Keep on painting great start

for a first post that is a cracking start :) the snow is great, and the eyes, superb. it's something a lot of people struggle with and you nailed them straight away.:) you do realize people will expect more from you now and ever increasing standards lol
