This is another version of the Owlbear. My first one is #14899. I tried to stay closer to the Monster Manual description this time, and paint him with more browns. In order to get a nice base for shadows, I primed him black and began the process of layering different layers of brown. I tried to give some distinction between feathers and fur, and detailed the "wing" feathers with stripes. I was really happy with his eyes and beak, tho I don't remember exactly what I did for the beak! For the eyes, I started with the brightest yellow I had, painted a smaller circle of orange, then another of dark brown, and finally a pupil of black. A tiny dot of white was the last detail. Again, comments are greatly appreciated.
