Ltd Edition Captain Sicarius of the Ultramarines (repost- better photo!)
Hiya, This is a repost due to me getting better photograph of the model. I was very lucky enough to have been sent this limited edition Captain Sicarius by Big Nasty Shark in the Mini exchange 10. I really love the pose and sculpt and it was a real joy to paint. I wanted him to be a little different from your average ultramarine and based him with regal blue, highlighted with enchanted blue mixes. I am very happy with his banner, its my second attempt at NMM. I am also pleased with the overall look of this as I found it quite hard to paint the freehand on a non flat surface. I am also pleased with the scroll work, and the way the stubble and shaved head looks, as this is my first try at this attempt. Please vote and comment! Cheers, Dave
