I like the grubby look to the tabard. How did you do that? Black primer, white underpainting in a scruffy pattern, I'm guessing.

Yes, it's a Tau symbol. I was searching for some oriental symbol and the Tau one was the first which came to my mind.

Nice one, and by the way you crossed the arms in front of the Torso you can spin him without endaring him to fall over! I like it! The symbol on the tabbard looks like a Tau one for me, right?
