Thousand Sons Dreadnought

Here is another piece for that Thousand Sons army I'm painting for my local game shop. This guy was a major pain to paint, and is my first Dread ever. I like how he turned out though. Comments? Suggestions? Thanks

The "gold metal" trim is actual a method of Gold NMM I got from the SlappingPaint.Net and Craig Stocks. It's a layering process of about 7 different colors beginning with Snakebite Leather and endinging with pure White.

Thanks for the comments. The mini is double coated in matte, no gloss coat at all. The shine is from my lighting source I believe, I'm still working out my lighting techniques. The blue is actually highlited up 4 layers, it's just not showing real well. Better pics are on my site.

This is a good job. The colors are great and I think that it may be a bit overexposed in the photo so I am taking that into account. The gloss is a bit strong. Might want to hit it with gloss, then matte, then gloss only little hightlights. It may make a bigger *POP*. A bit more on the base in terms of grass would also be great. All in all very nice.
