It is hard to tell from the distance of the photo, but it looks like your faces could maybe use a little more shading. Especially roman helmets which are so encloding, and have a fair amount of overlap of facial features. . .the faces on yours pop out just a little bit much. . .this can be assuaged with some brown inks in the crevaces where facial feature meets armour, and make them look more inside the helmet, if that makes sense. Over all i bet its getting to be a nice looking army! :) Kudos for working on the shields. They could certainly be a little cleaner detail wise, but that'll come with practice. I love handpaintied shields, not enough people are brave enough to do them, so you get extra points for that. :)
