Menoth Reckoner

This mini marks the end of an era, as it is the first one I primed white instead of black and boy, I never want to go back! This is the end of the 12+ layers of Ivory, yahoo!

O I am loving this! I have been wanting to build a Menoth army but not look like just all the rest. This is the perfect color scheme. Would you mid describing the process you took?

Yeah, most of the metals are drybrushed that's why. But it helps in shortening the painting time. I've finished this model in app. 9 hours which is fast for me. But I agree it would probably look better if I highlighted the metals differently.

The blue on this is fantastic, so vivid! And very nice smooth blends on the blues and the gold trim. The steel/iron bits don't seem quite up to the same standard, or maybe it's that they're all gritty and it doesn't fit with the super clean job on the rest to my eye.
