Classic Space Marine Dark Angel Squad

Hi, this is a first for me and probably a bit daft. I'm not a Pro Painter, just a hobbyist that wanted to put some pictures up in a public Place. Ive never been a good painter but have been a hobbyist for over 10 years, just recently however I started to improve fairly quickly and though that I may as well put a few pictures up for tips and advice more than anything. Critism is fine as long as you try and give me advice at the same time! Thanks, Don This classic Squad was my first attempt at Shading armour and I was just realy pleased with how well it turned up (Please rememebr I am an amatuer!)

Wow , you have really gone to town with those old boys. Splendind armour shading and bolters too! Love those bolters really. Only the seargant`s face lets down a bit. Regards Marcin

Looks good Scoty. Really like the armour shading. My only criticism would be to back up the others about the gun barrels - always drill them before painting and also to say that the sergeant's face looks a little, craggy? Possibly a bit too heavy on the final highlighting which has flattened it somewhat and made the shading look too deep. But i like 'em! Good job!

Considering you're working with some of the worst of GW's minis ever produced, the so-called "Flat-Pack" marines!! I think you've done an excellent job on them. Yes, drill out your weapon barrels, and such, but overall very nicely done.
