Facehugger Attack! - Mini Exchange #10

This is one of the miniatures that treide generously sent me in the Mini Exchange. It's a really rare old Leading Edge Games model from their "Aliens" line (I have another one posted here). Stylistically, I made an effort to produce a high-contrast, more dramatic look here, partly to make up for the fairly shallow detail on the model. Although it's not the best sculpt ever, the subject makes my nerd heart go pitter-patter :) (The eggs are just quickie paint jobs I originally used as scenery for my Queen's photo shoot, so don't vote on them - not that I care about scores ;))

YOu really hit your goal of achieving a more dramatic look, and it suits this mini well. Great fun and nostalgia.

Eggcellent (couldn't resist)! You did a great job, and I will have to paint up one of my Aliens minis soon now that you have inspired me. Any significance to the little "W" on the colonist's shirt?
