Nurbald the Sculptor

Ah.. I just can't get enough of this guy. I mean... I did not intend to paint it better than tabletop originally, but the sculpt just swept me off my feet (so to speak) - of course... after reading CH10:s painting guide, I had to try some of the techniques mentioned there.

THE KILL

Bad pic, but definitely nearly an 8: Hair is done pretty well, metallics are ok but could use a little more work; looks too much like ink, maybe some more scratches & details or something. The blue shirt is well done, but somehow blue is not the right colour for the character... looks too bright and happy. I love the face, looks real. Sadly there are some moldlines left (on right arm & hand, on the left "Leg" on the lowest pic). Simple & effective base.
