Lord of the Woods
Uff, this has been quite a long time in the making. After finishing the sculpt itself (pic 86962 if anyone is interested to see it) i dramatically ran out of ideas concerning a paintjob to do the amount of scuplting time i had invested justice (posting the w.i.p. pic hasn´t helped either, acting as a kind of creativity brake) inspiration hit me as i thought about the yin-yang symbols i am guilty of adding to almost any elven/eldar mini i layed my hands on; only this time i used it in a recurring theme almost all over the mini (including the tattoos, in a way). in regards to sculpting, i added the hound to further the "wild hunt"-theme and re-worked the spear, as the old version somehow didn´t cut it for me any more. As i enjoy reading your comments and thoughts and really appreciate the effort i would be glad if you let me know what you think! Happy painting!
