Scratchbuilt Star Wars Sluis Van Shipyard

This was a comission that started life as a 2d top down line drawing from a star wars book with no other pictures or information available. It took about 4 months on and off and comprises of around 150 pieces of balsa (lots of little angles) and then clad in plasticard and used a lot of superglue (about 10 tubes!!!!) With no colour reference or even side views only the top was known and the rest i have interpereted from there. The four dock arms are all removable for staorage etc (simply slide on and off) and both the two large docks and two smaller ones in the main body have recesses to take ships. The model is around 2ft at its longest and 6 inches high and is designed for use with battle fleet gothic and similar systems. Hope you like it and comments would be appreciated

Wow, it sounds like this was quite a lot of work, and looks like it was worth it, great professional looking result!
