Ashkrypt The Lich (1st submission)

This is my 1st mini on CmoN ... I am pleased with this so far, though its not done. Looking for suggestions or whatever... The Photo itself SUCKS!!!! ill take hints on how to take pic without having it make my mini look glossy like this.

(5.5) I like the use of purple to shade the red, I think it works nicely. The colour shift on the horns is nicely done, but the number of bright colours used here seems a bit at odd with the sculpt. On the other hand, I respect that you went non-traditional for an undead! The black areas look a little unfinished compared to the rest. If the actual mini has a gloss or satin finish, you can use a matte spray or brush on to damp that down. Testor's Dullcote is the favourite for sprays. You can also photograph in a light tent or even just try putting some tissue you over your lamp(s) if it's more the lighting causing the glare. Voters do tend to dislike gloss, and unfinished bases. I hope you'll continue posting!
