Don't agree on the face, the pic is under exposed and the detail is obscure.. c'mon the eyes could be painted that dark with two white blobs, if you want real criticism give us clear photos, i'll only judge on the overall... which is still pretty good but a 10, give me a break

I think while the ultramarines can be a bit on the bland side, the face is astounding, which is one of the best I have seen on ANY model.

Sampson, Yeah I know what you mean about them being boring, I think it's partly because they are/were like GWs flag ship chapter and you saw them them every where, and partly due to this associatiation and that alot of us quite rightly have an axe to grind with GW over one thing or another, many people are just tired of seeing ultramarines. In my case I started to paint Ultras back in the early 90's after I saw some D. Andrews art on the front of White dwarf 97 (or somwwhere around there), at the time every one was painting blood angels, but there you go. Incidentaly the head was scratch built with GS. Thanks for your comments everyone.
