Drune Minotaur

After a longer pause my newest additon to my drune army. First time I am nearly satisfied with the NMM on the sword at least. Tried to make him look like on the card of the mini. As far as I am concerned the best looking mini of my many armies. Perhaps some day I'll even get an 8 oder 9 here ;) Unfortunately my equipment and skill for making photographs is not as good as my painting skill so i hope you can, despite the not so perfect picture make out the details Comments are welcome

Thanks for the comment ! I will try to improve the horns, I for myself was also not very satisfied with them, and look how I might be able to geht the Basestone more real. And I will post another photo thats not quite so distracting. I looked at it for myself for quite a time in the size it is displayed here and must agree that it looks strange. Possibly the reason for beeing one of the worst rated minis in my small gallery and beeing the one i gave the most work in. Thanks again for the comment, I will see how do do it better :)

Ritual

The photo is, I'm afraid, very distracting. It would have been better to keep the background completely, as it is very disturbing to have it visible just near the mini itself. If the entire background was kept it would have been easier to disregard it. Put a white, grey or light blue paper behind the mini when you photograph it instead. Place the mini on top of the paper and curve it upwards and let it rest against something. That way you won't get any corner behind the miniature. As for the mini itself, It looks quite good. The sword came out very well and it looks really beaten and worn. The effect would have been furthered by adding some rust near the hilt. The skin looks good too, The horns, however looks a bit messy and drybrushed. Also, the stone looks too blue and artificial. Still, a good piece alltogether.
