Ultramarine from Starquest

Normally I'm painting LOTR miniatures, but I always liked the Spacemarines from W40K. So I painted a Spacemarine from the Starquest-Boardgame I had bought several years ago. It's not as detailed as nowadays Spacemarines but it was fun to paint anyway. I chose the Ultramarines paint scheme because it was from team blue. By the way, the eagle on the bolter is my first attempt on freehand and it's my second mini in NMM. Any comments very welcome.

Old school love, this is nothing short of amazing... even inspiring. I just got a Space Crusade set two weeks ago, and seeing this beauty really makes me want to wait and get better before touching my paints and brushes and ruining those old but awesome plastics. I am stunned.... great stuff.

This guy is old but not that old. He's from Starquest, a game put out around the same time as Heroquest. That was many years after 1st edition beaky marines. Amazing job on an older figure.
