2005 Chicago GD Duel entry

This project took way too much time to get the end result. I had to reposition the Minotaurs legs so he was leaning back more, and move his arm to hold the shield. On the hippogriff I had to move and arm so he would be grabbing onto the side of the minotaur's face, resculpt the claw grabbing the shield, and reposition the hoof landing on the shield. I leaned the knight forward in the saddle(so he didn't look like he was falling off the back),so had to shorten the reins, lengthen his cape and fill in behind his knees. I cut his sword arm and pointed it forward. I like how the conversion all came together, the paint job is another story, and if I had a time machine... Made cut, did not place.

Unfortuanatly, you have such a subtle style and it doesn't translate too well to pics. It makes it look flat. BUT, I had the luck of seeing this in real life, and i is just wonderful. Way to go!!
