Dark Angel conversion

This conversion started life as a plastic Tactical Squad Marine. I repositioned him into a kneeling pose and sculpted robes to hide my poor conversion work! I also sculpted a modified helmet and the Dark Angels icon on the shoulder pad.

oh - i meant to say, my most recent robe is on display in the pic 'Plague Marine Conversion #6' in my gallery. please forgive the repeated testicle references though :-s

i agree with you both! this was my first attempt at sculpting robes so the result wasnt 100% what i was after. the bold painting doesnt help either! i need to lean to blend - i try to avoid painting! :-D cheers

I got to agree with Torn, the mini is great but the robes are very....(fluffy?) Almost looks like a dress being blown up by the wind. The DA pad is cool though. Nice work
