Hey nice effort on your thrid piece... but...
1. Use a file or exacto knife to trim the seams off of your piece...
2. Drill out the barrel holes, but be careful to center it.
3. You have to prime your piece (spray primer works best in my opinion...) when you don't, the paint wipes right off, and it looks like that happened to you.
4. Take your time, pay attention to detail, make sure you paint all of it.
5. Personally I prefer matte or flat spray to protect it rather than gloss.
So I guess what i'm saying is spend a little more time on preperation, and detail... there are a lot of great painting articles to your right here>>>>> by painters much better than me :D
Have fun and hope to see more soon!
