I haven't seen too many of these done up with darker hair like you have used, and I like it. The overall somber look of the painting suits the pose and expression of the mini very nicely. The red on the axe handle and the colourful leaves around his feet add nice counterpoints of colour.
Clean painting and good metallics. I like the using of red at the Axe and the face looks great so far as I can see, but pictures are still too dark. I can't see his eyes. Try a darker Background for your pictures that will help.
