2 Night Storm:
In case of this model, I painted it partially assembled, first i assambled torso, shoulders, support arms and legs and mounted it on a base (during assembling i used a tac). Rocket launcers and head were painted separately. As for hands, then i assembled arms, guns and cartridge belt and only after that i painted it. After i finished the painting process only then i started final assembling:)
How do you do your painting, you make you model so detailed, do you paint it before or after assembly because I am new at 40k and want the battle suit commander I am going to get soon look cool
2 Night Storm
Well, the base made of beer rack (you know this round cookie like thing which you can find under your beer:P) Then i covered the multi-layer construction with wattered down PVA. After dry up i coated it with chaos black spray and finally applied a modelling gravel, that's it:)
