This is a really cool mini. I'm not sure of the conversion work you did, which is great! Good positioning. I like the face, but the mouth does seem strangely contorted and the eyes don't appear symetrical. Also, I agree about the gems and the neck-tie, use a red or purple to make one of the jump out with contrast. I would keep the neck bit and the lower lining the same though. Contrast is good as long as it is controlled. HOWEVER, the mini is great, clean and interesting. There's much more to compliment that criticize.
Love the metallics. Thanks for not using NMM. I love the face, not every elf needs to be happy and pale of face.
The gems being the same color as the bandana/scarc is somewhat distracting, but other then that I can't complain.
