My GD entry for Baltimore '06. The first time I've painted the same miniature twice- I did the original a few years back so you can see how (and if) I've progressed. I tried for an nice bright gold and to get the somewhat full face of the film actor.

Excellent face and nice nmm golds. I really like the red cloak aswell. Definately around a 9. What's up with the lotr scores?

Thanks for the comments! The face was a good exercise for me. It helps when you have the movie to go back and reference- really makes you work at getting it right.

I have painted this mini in trrue metalics and it is a very complex mini with alot of fine detail, to see it done this well in NMM just shows how good a job this realy is, add to that the face is very natural looking and the blending on the flesh is so smooth shows just what a quality model this is. Top notch.
