Here's a GW LOTR Balrog I entered in the 2006 Baltimore Golden Demon LOTR Large or Group Category. This one didn't make it through the 1st cut. I'll have to work harder next time. This was my first GD and I made 1st cut in 6 categories. Had a lot of fun and hope to enter again next year. Thanks in advance for taking a look and for any comments you might have.

the face is superb! i would only make one suggestions - make the very tips of the fire a little darker - especially on his back. apart from that - awesome

ne of the best balrogs ive seen on the site (im not fond of the model, but i like this one). i suggest photographing this guy against a black background to make the fire pop. the ryes and sword are my favorite parts.
