Inquisitor Eisenhorn
Painted nearly 3 years ago (summer of 2003, i think). I was starting to use blending techs. Still haven't mastered them even the slightest. I used GW's original model as a ref. Hence the similarities. I'm especially proud of the free-hand celtic 'knots'. Not too proud of the green stuff skull. Bah! Anecdote: When I was mere minutes from finishing it, a moth flew into my room (summer, hot night, late, you know) and I started to swat after it. BIG mistake! I knocked poor Gregor to the ground, invented some new curses and assesed the damage. NOt much, the skin on one hand had taken a scuffle and the cane was bent. I also needed to glue an arm back in place (this was before I discovered pinning). The pain was going to be to repaint the hand, as I hadn't saved the colour swatches. But I don't think you can tell on the photos. Camera: Konica Minolta 8 Mp Lighting: 1 70W daylight bulb Digi edit: Microsoft picture edit and MSPaint
