You've used a spray as base coat. I can see it through the paint. That's why I don't use sprays any more.

Hey, thanks rolling thunder - one of the best comments iv ever had lol. Yeh I agree with skull white - it is a very...well...bad colour and looks bad if the paint has started to go funny - which mine had done, thanks again!

i dont liek ultramarines but hey i do liek your attention to detail! i sympathise with you on the white appearing a bit thick and showing off the brush strokes, im not a good painter but i tend to steer clear of the citadel paints, especiallt the skull white (thats if you used it) i find it goes too thick too easily and quickly... most of my stuff is painted with matt enamel (but thats 11 years of ww2 tank modeling that is speaking here) in fairly new to 40k but still try to use the old skills i learned doing models with whatever supplies i could afford. Just saying. ok back to the dreadnought! (sorry about that) i like the gold around its torso and the battle damage, hes been around and has character! i give you a 7 for this :)
