Sigmarite Augur

This is my third mini. She's not quite done, I guess--I haven't sprayed her with clear coat yet, so all the shiny is from the original paint and ink. When I finish with the clear coat, I intend for her to be matte finish, not shiny. It's interesting to me how the digital camera changed the shading and colors. Really there are like four different colors of red in the dress, and the skin seems to me a shade darker, with more contrast than the photos appear. However, it is what it is. I love this pose. The closed eyes and uplifted face seem so serene, yet obviously she's in the middle of a very strong wind. Next time, I'm going to cut off the hair and paint her blue like the character from Farscape. =-]

Great looking mini, I'll have to get one. Love the Farscape refrence. Nice job overall.

Digital Cameras almost always change the colours and shading of the mini some. A lot has to do with the lighting you use when you do the shot, and the settings of the camera. But despite the "loss" of colour you describe, I still think she came out well.
