That's not a bad firepit, but one thing I'd suggest is making the burnt out camp fire a different color than the surrounding earth. If it were muddy, rocky ground or grassy, with the blackened firepit in the center, it'd sell the image more. Likewise, drybrushing some black "soot" onto the pole across the top would give it that burnt-out feel.
