Whatever you did to change the background on this minipic is not doing much to aid your miniatures. The distortion around the mini is distracting. Also, something closer would be nice.
That said, I think the white highlights on the blue are a little too extreme, but it appears that you've done a good job making a realistic seeming grey/white beard on him.
What's that brown thing above his head?
