My first go at a figure of this size. Please forgive the photo, I think it looks a little too washed out. Figure was supposed to look s if he was about to karake kick. Might look a little better if he was stamping on some poor chap.
When I first saw this I thought there should a cowering mortal under the stamping foot to finish it off. The one that came with the old Warhammer giant maybe (not sure about size). Anyway, great paint job colour choices.
When you tell me he's about to kick, then I can see it, but to someone who doesn't know you intended that, and does know the model, it really looks like you made a huge, weird mistake.
I like your Coulours and your style of painting. The converted Head looks great but as you already pointed out he looks like doing a roundhouse-kick or something ;) .
I have to try out the idea with the anvil's base and alrics shield for my dwarfen army.
