Made this 'scene' for my 10 year old nephew's birthday. He isn't in to wargaming but loves the films so thought I would create this for him. The log and fungi were my first real attempt with green stuff and I even made the wooden base myself. The photo's are not brilliant so I apologise for that. Luckily my nephew isn't well versed in mini painting so hopefully won't be too unhappy with the result. Comments would be appreciated

Thanks for the comment ratcals. As i ts my first go with green stuff I didn't notice the finger print until dry but thought would just look like tree bark anyway. To be honest I wasn't aware that lichen dried out!!

I'm sure your nephew will be more nan pleased to get this for his birthday. The only thing I noticed was the fingerprint on the log. Some here would take a point off for that but not me. Another thing is the use of lichen. It looks nice now but won't in a few months time when it starts to dry out. I would have used something more permanent.
